The following list of themes is based on the iterative process of needs assessment conducted over the first year of the modernAKIS project. This collection includes a total of 5 themes, 8 topics, and 22 AKIS-in-practice! The most represented topic is the use of simplified options costs that were applied to some AKIS-related types of interventions: training of farmers, partners of the operational groups, and provision of farm advisory services. Secondly, there is the functional organization of the AKIS coordination bodies that, although in some cases they are not fully profiled by the respective MAs, certainly provide valuable insights on how to structure this new governance entity in MSs.
